This is not a subject about which I can argue, and certainly not with another fan of both records. I love both albums all the way through. So for you to prefer Queen to Strangeways is a bit like prefering Rubber Soul to Revolver. It's all good. (Though Revolver's better).

Love The Queen Is Dead. But I actually agree with them about Strangeways. Still, both records are amazing.

That Courbet (with a bunch of others) was on display here at the Dallas Museum of Art this year. It was exquisite.

The drink I described above is a traditional Mexican beverage called a Michelada. I didn't invent it. But I will have another.

Tonight, after a terrible, terrible day, I learned that iced Mexican beer, in a mug with a salted rim, a fresh lime wedge, and a couple of dashes of Tabasco sauce is a hell of a drink.
