Ha ha! Thanks for saying that! Not sure about the next series, but I have a few one-offs planned. Richard Thompson is worthy indeed!

The Delivery Man

Elvis Costello's song "The Delivery Man" feels like the beginning of a great crime story, exploring the dynamics of a small town in the American South and the introduction of a mysterious stranger. Check out the latest from Recliner Notes: http://reclinernotes.com/2022/08/28/the-delivery-m...

Elvis in Dylan's new book

Dylan Twitter is abuzz with the table of contents for Bob's new book which includes exploration of a number of songs, including "Pump It Up." I'm sure Elvis will be mentioned in the chapter on "Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood." https://twitter.com/JochenMarkhorst/status/15631269153...

When I Was Cruel No. 2

With "When I Was Cruel No. 2," Elvis Costello utilizes sampling technology while commenting on his younger "revenge and guilt" persona from the perspective of a new century and finds that his capacity for cruelty is very much intact. Here's the latest from Recliner Notes: http://...
