We have a winner!
Very good, Noise! You must be psychic! Gate's wonder
Thanks for the tip, Bamb. What I do in case of an invalid session is cut and paste back and forth from notepad or Word. On bigger entries, I start with notepad or Word, and cut and paste to the board. Invalid sessions are time related, I believe, so if you're in and out quick, it won't happen. What ...

Reality
Like, if I ever step on one, I won't be asking, "...hmmmm, is that a croc or a gator?".
But the arguement will go on. No, he was ate by a crocodile. No, I tell you, it was an alligator.
Perhaps a cayman?

So kind of you...
Perhaps the questions should be limited to what the noun names, and not the noun itself. Funny, though, I've played this game a lot, and I don't think rhyming has ever come up.
I hate rules but they might be necessary. Come on, Marmaduke, give the answer and let's have us a little party...

Remote
Greetings from a campsite in South Dakota. Bear with me here... Ah, the rhyming question. I can tell you of only one word that the noun rhymes with, and I am reluctant to do so. Let me think about it. It is not metal. It does not make noise. I do not believe it can be "fit" through anythin...

Yes, you all asked the correct questions, and in the end, I gave it up unconciously, like a properly prepared prom date.
Storm gets credit for proving that the "wild guess" method can yeild results.
Okay, I'm off to Rushmore. I cannot say the noun is wet.

Again, anyone?
That was amazing, So Lack. Would you like to try your powers once more? There is a new noun, a noun of renown, and it's becoming fixed even as we gaze stolidly into the blueness of the board. Harder, harder, the noun becomes harder, colder, more brutal as a rule, still. This will take some patience,...

My counterpart down in Tennessee says he doesn't mind anyone being gay, he just doesn't want anyone teaching his son that homosexuality is okay. It think that means he doesn't mind anyone being gay, so long as it's not his son. I'm pretty sure it's mostly natural, though the environment would determ...

Atta-boy, So Lack! New warnings
I've been getting new warnings this morning, when I attempt to log on. After I enter my password, the warning pops up. If you refresh the page, or go to another website and return, the board will show you logged on. You can't just back-button back. When you log off, the warning will reappear, but yo...

Da bomb
While a nuclear explosion could be both natural and man-made, I don't think Mother nature actually intends to hurt anybody with hers. But that's a better guess than dog mummies or man bones. My thought projection must have encountered some atmospheric distortion. That's a minor clue. I'll keep tryin...

Nope, nada
I see that Storm is using the "wild guess" method. A human skull or bone would be within a 100K of someone. This could work, though: I'll keep thinking of the noun as I sleep tonight, and try to project it to Tokyo, perhaps on some thought frequency. The only prize in this game is the sati...

We'll know who is a hound dog when they get the right scent and head down the right trail. (It's not a clue, I'm literally asking if you're a detective dog. A real one, not a stuffed one with a tartan cap and briar pipe.) There is a clue in my second post on this thread. The noun is fixed. Smell the...

O, how I would like to say that it is a ham sandwich... Ah, Gilli, where ya been? It is generally mineral, I'd say. Pip, it is not a place, or a person, so now we can say it is a thing.
