I like it better than anything, by far, on the Mighty Like a Rose album. How did this not make the cut? Because not his own song? MLAR would have been greatly improved with this. So Like Candy is the only redeemer of the whole album. Ugly Things coulda replaced some ugly things on the rest of it. O...

Taking out seven repeats of PLU, I make it 180 different songs so far? So with two nights to go, he's easily going to hit the 200, and then some.

That's my hunch too. If he's billing it as a 'love letter to Burt', you'd think he'd actually sing the songs himself.

I really hope this gets a physical release. Maybe Red Shoes would be added as a bonus track. I have every confidence that when this gets released as a deluxe box-set of 7" singles (with postcards of course), 'Red Shoes' will be the 'exclusive bonus track' on the B-side of the sixth single :D. ...

Agree...a bit. I do quite enjoy Wise Up Thought if I'm in the right mood, and I think the version of 'Tripwire' is preferable to the Wise Up Ghost version.

Well, quite. Books that I own, about or by Bob, are a lot smaller in number than the books I own about or by Elvis. But they take up three times as much shelf-space!

I confess I'd be slightly disappointed if the only Elvis song mentioned is 'Pump It Up'. Particularly if all Bob's going to do is point out the obvious connection from 'Too Much Monkey Business' to 'Subterranean Homesick Blues' and then to 'Pump It Up'.

Spotted a copy of the vinyl in my local HMV this week. £37 for a six track EP is extracting the urine so I walked away... :shock: Depends how bothered you are about collectability and physical product.
