This is a great song from a criminally underrated album. When EC played this on A&E Live By Request, he changed the lyric as follows: "My Darling Dear it's such a waste" She couldn't say "goodbye", but "You've got lousy taste" Lol. I've never heard him make this lyr...

I should have asked him if there will be a Wise Up Ghost II, but I forgot, had been drinking whiskey all night!

I ran into ?uestlove last night at the Boardwalk Empire premiere party in NYC. We had a brief conversation and I mentioned that I had caught a couple of his gigs with Elvis Costello, and they were awesome. Told him I was right up against the stage at Brooklyn Bowl and they f'in killed it that night....

Quite a night for me, this was my 31st show and I got 6 songs I never heard him play live before! 7 if you include the electric version of Last Year of My Youth.

Elvis, if you ever read this, THANK YOU! This was an amazing and memorable show!!

BA must be happy, it was the original Letterman/electric version of LYOMY!

I really enjoyed You Turned to Me. I love hearing anything from North. I find my favorite part of these shows is when he does the piano ballads. So powerful and emotional. I was there in the 6th row with my FREE ticket, the band was in great form as was Elvis's voice. I think that was one of the best live takes of Clubland I've ever heard. And I thoroughly enjoyed the WUG songs, esp. Meantimes and Cinco. Enjoyable (if short) show!
