Reissues Information

As we are all looking forward to the Glorious Day, I've been looking round for the cheapest prices for the reissues. The best I've found so far is £10.99 from http://www.play.com which includes p+p. I've used them quite a few times before and they are really good in my experience*. My copies are on ...

I agree. Can anyone else see a Cruel Smile type release coming out in the next 6 months or so...? Damn this "track only available from the internet" lark. I've only just learned how to use email. And even that's not always successful. I can't even transfer my Avatar and I don't even know w...

It's a bright sunny morning in (well, near) London. I hope you slept well JD (as well as all of you) and look forward to snippets and scandal this week! I was watching an old EC compilation at the weekend (whilst ploughing through three weeks worth of ironing!!) and saw some classic stuff. Does anyb...

Diana Krall in London - EC in attendance?

I was reading Time Out (London listings magazine) at lunchtime today and noticed that Diana Krall is playing at the Kenwood in Hampstead (London)on 2nd August.

PoP - we saw a mother and two cubs which we were told were about a year old. It's funny but in Canada as you walk around, people smile at you and say hello (as well as forever telling us that our accents were quaint or neat!) and think nothing of it as it's the norm. If you do that in England people...

It's so nice that people are genuinely interested. Thank you. Sulky - we did see some ice fall of the glacier into the water but it wasn't a major fall. I don't know if that technically classifies as a calving! We only saw humped back whales although there was a sighting of an Orca on one of the sis...

You never know though Lipstick (if I may be so bold to call you that!), he MAY have stored the moment in his head to recite in an interview at a later day. I just hope it's not the answer to a question like "What is the strangest thing an awestruck fan has ever said to you?" :)

Site Problem?

BlueChair

When I log in, intermittently I have to log in twice. Also when I go to view posts since last visit, it comes up that the criteria cannot be found. Therefore I have to visit each subject separately.

Is it me or is this an elaborate plan to keep us online longer?!

Oh I just don't know where to begin....(sorry!) We had a glorious day weather wise. My brother's boss chauffeurred me and my brother in a 1957 two tone blue Bentley. My other half looked stunning and I will never see her look so beautiful again. We got married in a Register Office with only 40 other...

Great story Liam. And let's not forget Louis' vital part in this. Louis, if you're reading this, you are a top man! In all fairness to Elvis, whenever I've met him (three times) he has been courteous. When I had my picture taken with him he was smiling and i looked like a stalker! And that's one of ...

Hello Hello I'm Back Again!

Thanks to those of you who sent kind wishes about my wedding - particularly Spooky. The wedding was a fantastic day and it flew by. I won't bore you with the details. We spent our honeymoon in Canada and Alaska. To any Canadians on the board - you have a wonderful cosmopolitan country and incredibly...

All the Rage. Easily. However I used to love the TTDD version in 1991 when he did the extended bit live "and if she seemed bullet proof I put it down to black magic", "the tragic forlorn faded figure whose story's on sale" and "kicking the royal cuckoo's out of their nest&qu...

The least favourite shouldn't be too bad - all I'd have to do is dig out The Juliet Letters - I'm sure all 10 of them are on there!

And as far as 10 favourites is concerned - no chance. By the time I compile it, the new album will be out and there'll be some new ones!
