Interesting stuff. As always, it's the little hints about next steps and future recordings that catch the eye. This is intriguing: 'I might record at least two more albums this year. When I say two more albums, I mean two more folios of recordings. Whether or not there's any more records to come out...

And thrice no. Good grief. The gritted-teeth, barely-tolerating-it look on his face throughout The One Show was enough. I'd like to be a fly on the wall if he were approached to appear on IACGMOOH.

Although probably worth noting that - on UK Itunes, at least - the Colbert album is album-only, so you can't download those two tracks individually. It's difficult to tell from the 30-second samples how much you can actually hear of EC on each one. Bearing in mind I'll try and get hold of virtually ...

DPM/DPAM/whatever is of UK birth but lives in the US, so he doesn't really have a lot of choice about being an expat. He is undoubtedly an egotist, but again, that kind of comes with the territory if you intend to make a living from singing your own songs in public. And he certainly indulges himself...

Update. You can get to see them the way I described, but you can't buy them if you are in the UK, only if you're in the US. Nice one, Elvis. Guess this is where we part company after 30 years. It's been fun.

A great album, but for me the stand-out is 'The Sharpest Thorn', which sounds like it could have come straight off 'King of America'.
