I have the Sound Choice CD. Each song is included twice, once as an instrumental and once with a guide vocal by some guy making a half-hearted attempted to sing like EC.

I'll admit to having sung both "Pump It Up" and "Everyday I Write The Book" in karaoke bars.

The KOA booklet includes a credit for "Cover Colourisation: Ed Turner."

The resemblance to Ted Turner has me wondering if that name is meant as a joke.

Re: God Give Me Strength , 10 years old on April 11

On Monday February 12th 1996 they , along with session musicians , assembled at Right Track Studio, New York . What's your source for the February 12th recording date? Beyond Belief (#6) said February 9th but also apparently identified the wrong recording studio (Orpheum Studios). (And to add to th...

EC "Artist's Choice" CD now available at Starbucks

An "Artist's Choice" CD of songs selected by Elvis is now available at Starbucks locations. It does not appear to be available on Starbucks' website (hearmusic.com), but it will probably show up there eventually. Here's the lineup: 1. Louis Armstrong - Let's Do It (Let's Fall In Love) 2. M...
