Elvis sings Elton and Sting

Post by Neil. »

I'm pretty sure that about 15 years ago, Elvis sang both these at live tribute concerts:

Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word

Ev'ry Little Thing She Does Is Magic

Do they exist at all, anywhere? I can imagine he'd've done a great version in both cases.

I believe The Police number was done with a uke, if memory serves me well.

Elvis sang “Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word” at a benefit concert for the Old Vic in February 2003.

Sadly no recording appears to exist.

Thanks, MOOT. Darn, it's a shame there's no recording. It's sad. It's sad. It's a sad, sad situation. And it's getting more and more absurd.

Neil, I agree. If only there were something I could say to express my feelings on this matter - my deep sorrow and disappointment on your behalf. But on this occasion I am simply... regretful (or something very like it).
