I HAVE Get Happy, so I guess it gets my vote. Even though I heard Sweet Dreams in Detroit this year, and I bet it sounds great on Almost Blue.

I suppose I'll be the only one to say this, risking having virtual food thrown at me from the members of this site, but I really like Almost Blue. My husband saw that tour, I think in 1981 in Nashville, and said Elvis wasn't received well and was practically boo'd off the stage. I know not much of anyone one else really likes it, but I do. I won't say it comes in miles ahead of GH, but I do like it.

I really like Almost Blue as well, although I have some minor quibbles with some of the arrangements. But AB is all covers, and no matter how wonderful, they cannot compete with "I Can't Stand Up for Falling Down," "I stand Accused" and eighteen (eighteen!!) EC originals.

I really, really like AB, but geez....Get Happy is amazing on the re-issue!
