Not to worry, I ended up going upstairs, winding her and ending up with baby sick down on my shoulder and down my dressing gown. A smile and her going to sleep would have been nicer.

Austin was a terrible spitter. When I think of him as a baby, I still smell sour milk. I never could let my babies cry. I would try, and sit there with my heart pounding, palms sweating, just feeling like some animal mother unable to protect her children from Jim in an episode of Wild Kingdom. I was too sleep-deprived to figure it out at the time, but eventually I realized that's how I was supposed to feel.
Ok, I'll try to stop the boring stories now.
