It's the number of people who bought Il Sogno, followed by the number of people who have managed to listen to it all the way through.
Or the number of years since My Aim is True, followed by the number of times its been reissued.

Does the "30:10" also count the second disc of "My Flame Burns Blue"? If so, I'm one of the 30, but not one of the 10...Mikeh wrote:It's the number of people who bought Il Sogno, followed by the number of people who have managed to listen to it all the way through.

The actual explanation isn't nearly as amusing as the ones posited above. 30 years, first since the beginning of 'the first ten years' as they're marketing it.

It's the number of formats (10) it's been reissued in the last 30 years.
Or the other way round.

Who’s this kid with his mumbo jumbo?

Sorry! The way I wrote that is about as obscure as the Rosetta Stone. I'll try it this way: EC's last big publicity campaign was the for the 30th Anniversary of MAIT, which was also accompanied by the 'First Ten Years' re-re-re-releases of MAIT through B&C. Hence the 30 and the 10. I'll slink away now........krm wrote:pophead2k wrote:The actual explanation isn't nearly as amusing as the ones posited above. 30 years, first since the beginning of 'the first ten years' as they're marketing it.
