I know!! I saw ads for that, and what the hell? Is he a history buff? Is he somehow connected to the producers and has a vested financial interest in the success of the show? If so, one would think they would hire someone who was, I don't know, an authority on the subject! Is it some kind of penance for past transgressions? Sort of an Outward Bound experience for drug-rehabbers or something?

It's a puzzle.

he's bored, he's run out of ideas or can't rock the way he used to, and the promoters are hoping to lure the highly prized 'youth' audience.

what's next, extreme pet care? maybe i should shop that idea to animal planet. mmmmmmmmm.
