Considering general lagging sales and the fact that the album isn't very commercial I don't consider it bad at all.
It's a promising start at least.Hopefully It will surpass Momofuku and I thought that album was more commercial than this one.

No. I agree it's not bad. I'm just surprised that you can reach billboard number 13 in the US with those figures.

I confess that I have stopped paying much attention to charts over the years.

Or be #6 on Amazon. I would have thought Amazon sells 33,000 albums every second.

Record sales have been lagging very much in the last 15 years or so.
There have been good sellers in this period but in general,from the 90's on
things have taken a turn for the worse.
Computer technologies and general bad decisions by the record companies themselves are the main culprits.
I'm just glad Costello can put together fine albums like this one and have a loyal following. :D
