I'm gonna take my own stab and say Led Zeppelin.
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

Fleetwood Mac and Led Zeppelin....two very good guesses, but not it.

You are both on the right track though!

Hint: the band is still active today (to the dismay of some) and has all of its original members.

No prob...

The Stones wouldn't be it in that case, cause their lineup has changed on several occasions (three people in guitarist #2 position)

This is tough. ZZ Top?

Kiss?

This is silly... I will stop guessing and leave this to someone who knows the answer.

Aerosmith?

Aerosmith is the band that may have dodged an airplane crash by declining to charter the "rickety" plane.

Good job SMM!!!

And good guesses, Blue! :D

Not a particularly earth-shattering question, but it made me stop and think a little bit about how the course of classic and Southern rock may have changed.

Okay, next question. I had one that both you two would know but I'm forgoing that in favor of of one that involves a less fashionable band...

The post-Peter Gabriel Genesis lineup had a record with a 2-part instrumental as the wrap up, called "Unquiet Slumbers For the Sleepers" and "...In that Quiet Earth" (I may have the punctuaiton wrong). Those words are from the last line of a famous novel. Which one?

ANd thou shalt not Google.

And now my question... a special Mother's Day special:

Who's mother invented Liquid Paper, the popular 'white out' product used to correct writing errors, and what band was he in?
