Great photo. Gets my vote as a cover. Where's that taken? Looks more US or Canada (as in north) than England or Ireland. Nice rain. Nice coat. If it sounds as good as it looks, I'll be happy.
Yep, I'd agree, Sam. That and the iron-lined curb and cobblestone street, though those are common in any older US city, I spose. But it does sort of scream BROOKLYN or something, doesn't it?
A doctored job. The street scene has been shot, with or without the rain (more likely without), then Elvis has been addad. The lighting is kinda weird for the setting and there's lots of (too much IMO) "flapping" on his coat, too. Nothing wrong with it. Still looks darn cool.
Yes, I have nothing better to do than pick apart a picture.

PoP, I noticed that it was doctored too. He looks superimposed. His shoes and pants look airbrushed, so does the blur of his coat tails. The bright light on his forehead would suggest that he'd cast a shadow on the road.
Why would they go through so much trouble, unless... yes, I think it's the album cover.
There's a photo of James Dean that looks very similar.
Phew, someone agrees. That's what I mean about the weird lighting, Bamboo. It's a bugger to shoot in the rain. And they forgot to put rain in front of him.
