Maybe it will give him the chance to become the player he showed he would at 18, then again maybe another Premiership team would.

So are there only 2 points per game in the Championship then?

Injury-addled MU were looking well dodgy as fortune conceded a hopeless own goal in Bucharest. Vast relief that they saved face. Good ol' Giggsy.

 I don't know why I wrote 4 there, I was half gonna say 1 point from 6 and half gonna say 1 point from 2 games...and I met somewhere in between.

I had ManYoo to win 2-1, with smith to score first at 33-1. Damned luck.
Miller was supposed to have played well though.

Come on you Charlton!

Gilli's whopping me and most if not all of the other boys in here on the butt, and yes, you may certainly join in, cos we know you've been dying to get your hands on Crow's corvine butt for a long time.

Curious, my pretty substantial Chambers dictionary doesn't list that lovely adjective, but Crow will be thoroughly familiar with it. Quick Google search:

"Definition:   [n]  birds of the crow family

See Also: chough, Corvidae, Corvus corax, Corvus frugilegus, Corvus monedula, crow, daw, family Corvidae, jackdaw, jay, magpie, nutcracker, oscine, oscine bird, raven, rook"

I'm quite pleased to have accurately used a word that Chambers doesn't list. I was worried I was going a bit Spanish for a moment.

That is a lovely adjective Otis, and my hands on anyone's butt at this moment in time woud by quite nice. What about an aquiline nose?

Top 5:

1. Chelsea
2. Arse
3. Pool
4. MU (I'm covering myself!)
5. Nuke

And at least one of the 3 promotees will stay up, hopefully with Man Shitty getting slaughtered and going where they belong.

Don't offend Man City, Otis. I've heard Liam and Noel Gallaghers are frequent visitors to this site and they might be after you any minute now...

Would agree with that for the most part, but I expect Boro to finish above Newcastle. So:

1. Chelsea
2. Arsenal
3. Liverpool
4. Manchester United
5. Middlesbrough

And three for the drop

18. Everton
19. Crystal Palace
20. West Brom

I'm not sure that two strikers with a well-known aversion to being happy at clubs (Viduka and Hasselbaink), and who tend to prefer to play on their own, will do brilliantly in a partnership together - but who knows!

Fine performance by Everton. I'm just not sure how much they should be fined.

I'm feeling better and better about having tipped them for relegation.

Whew. Not an impressive performance by us - seemed to lack creativity in midfield and Lampard was poor - but I'll take the 1-0 result.

Also nice to see both of my strikers (Cisse and Guddy) get on the score sheet.

It's a marathon not a sprint. Sodding Chelsea, I thought we'd get whipped, but if we'd had some finishers on the pitch (Smith?) we'd easily have got one if not 3 points.

As with last season, the games when you didn't make Henry captain were probably a big mistake. I mean, 11 points, and he didnt even score!
