The Trash Can Sinatras' new album ?

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

The Trash Can Sinatras' new album ?

Post by invisible Pole »

A couple of months ago I read that the Trash Can Sinatras had finished recording their new album but were looking for a label to release it.
Anyone knows when - if at all - the album is coming out ?

I remember buying two TCS records - "Cake" and "I've Seen Everything" - about 10 years ago, not knowing a single song by the band, just because Paul Heaton wore a t-shirt with their name.
Good decision, as I like both albums a lot.

Noise Radio and I are big TCS fans. Cake is one of my favourite albums of the 90s and one of the best debut albums ever made IMHO.

I heard a couple of tracks from their new album on BBC Radio 2 at about 2am one morning in May.

The new album is scheduled for release in September and the band are touring the USA at present.

I very slightly prefer the followup offering by TCS to Cake, but they're both brilliant. I certainly wouldn't quibble either way. And I am breathlessly awaiting the September release.

Sweet! They're coming to the Gypsy Tea Room, which is one of the best places to see bands in Dallas. I'll have to see if I can make it.
