Am I the only person watching Big Brother..?

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

I'm not watching it, but my friend Paul was one of 50 finalists (out of 40,000!) for the show- had he made the cut, I'd be glued to it.

It's so tedious! They're so boring! Who cares? It used to be fun, now it's just sad. Get rid of it!

Cameron is an arsehole. Why is he so popular? What's all this bollocks about him being a gentleman and therefore everyone wants to marry him? I don't quite get the difference between being boring and being whatever he is. Too smug by half. Steph is astonishingly tedious. She looks absurd.

Am too bored by the topic to continue. Much more interesting to come here, or to click the 'fotolog' link on Bunny/Mug/Spooky's sign off and get lost in there.

it is also the most ageist programme on tv. Do they not realise that people with experience of life are usually wittier, funnier and less self-absorbed than a bunch of dull, post-pubescent idiots who think that the world revolves around their own self-satisfied existence!!

If you haven't read Dead Famous by Ben Elton, I'd recommend it. It's no 1984, but it is very funny in places. Esp the piss take of Davina McCall bits.

I agree that Dead Famous is dead funny.

I have never watched an episode of BB, although I did sit through the celebrity ones that they did (they only last for about a week so it's not too bad).

Yes, I'm dredging this one up.

Coming up to the final week - who's gonna go tomorrow and who's gonna win? Nush tomorrow. And Scott's the winner, though I want Cameron to win ("what aboot the hoose?"). Does anyone swear as much as Ray? But it sounds so much nicer in that Dublin accent of his. Do I need to get out more? Oh God it's so bad it's good!!

I know you're all watching it  .

I'm not really mush of a TV buff. Plus, my hubby retains control of the remotes (all 5 of them) at all times.

SulkyG I assume it's BBUsa you're not watching. BBUK hits it's last week. As I see it...

- I'd be very surprised if Nush doesn't go tonight

- So that leaves Steph, Ray, Scott and Cameron up for the prize. I think it'll come down to Scott and Cameron. I think Cameron could go all the way (if not booted out tonight), Scott and Ray could split the all-important "hunk-vote". I'd vote for Cameron to win... if I wanted to waste money as well as time on BB

- As a Dub, I find Ray stereotypical and annoying. A swearing, boozy Irishman! How boring.

E4 is going to start showing BBUsa when BBUK is over. Heaven help us all.
