Classic Seinfeld Lines

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

I finally saw Larry David's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" last week and I thought it was very funny.
Yes, I also discovered this a couple of weeks ago. For those in the UK, BBC4 are showing a double episode on fridays at 10:30pm.

Not that there's anything wrong with that...

"Hello, Newman..."

This show has always irritated me. Curb your Enthusiasm is even worse!

If anyone dares to quote Friends, I shall leave and never be heard from again...

Festivus for the rest of us!!!!
A lot of Christians wear crosses around their necks. Do you think when Jesus comes back he ever wants to see a fuckin' cross? It's kind of like going up to Jackie Onassis with a rifle pendant on.

Priest: "And this offends you as a Jew."
Jerry: "No. It offends me as a comedian."

"That guy has a little name for everybody" -- Jackie Chiles, after being introduced to "the Soup Nazi" on the last episode.

And here's a couple of probably not entirely accurate "Buffy" quotes for Poppet.

Buffy (aiming crossbow at bad guy's head): "Stay back... or I'll pull a William Burroughs on your leader here."
Xander: "You'll bore him to death with free prose?"

"Don't you realize it's folly to resist the will of the Master....bater." -- Renfield-ized Zander tries to backpeddle, from "Buffy vs. Dracula."

"huh." - George upon learning of Susan's death.

"..and they're spectacular." - Teri Hatcher to Jerry

"kiss my grits" - Flo to Mel

Here's another Buffy moment:

Willow, explaining her joy in her newly discovered talent in witchcraft: "It's like chemistry, only with more newt."
"But it's a dangerous game that comedy plays
Sometimes it tells you the truth
Sometimes it delays it"

You asked for 'em (kinda) -- more "Buffy" quotes.

Former demon Anya: I swear, I am just trying to find my necklace.
Willow: Well, did you try looking inside the sofa in hell?!

Wesley: Remember the three key words for any Slayer: Preparation... preparation... preparation.
Buffy: That's one word three times.

Giles: Why should someone want to harm Cordelia?
Willow: Maybe because they met her?

Xander (about marauding Troll, Olaf): Maybe you could fight him.
Spike: Yeah, I could do that, but I'm paralyzed with not caring very much.

I could do this all day!

phones pitch guy....."Hi. Would you be interested in switching over to TMI Long Distance service?"

Jerry..."Oh, gee, I can't talk right now. Why don't you give me your home number and I'll call you later."

"Uh, sorry, we're not allowed to do that."

"Oh, I guess you don't want people calling you at home."

"No."

"Well, now you know how I feel."

Brilliant! Does anyone know why Paramount dont seem to be showing Seinfeld in the UK anymore? Where has it gone???? And why do they always show the same old episodes of the Simpsons, and not repeat the new ones!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrr..I STILL haven't seen the one with EC on.
