Steve Nieve - The Immobile Tour BackStage

Post by Man out of Time »

In case anyone has not found it, Steve has been playing a daily half-hour improvisation which is available to view online on FaceBook on the SteveNieveOfficial page. Muriel Teodori holds the camera, and A.J.U.Q. films for his account on Instagram. Steve has played a mix of his own compositions and some of his work with Elvis (e.g. Indoor Fireworks). Steve and family are in self-isolation in France.

So far there have been two "broadcasts" which you can view here, if you (or someone in your family) has a FaceBook account:

Day One

Day Two

These recordings may not be online for ever, so enjoy while you can. There is another improvisation at 17:30 GMT today which you can join here:

https://www.facebook.com/stevenieveofficial/

This is a great way to bring people together in these troubled times. If you like what you hear, Steve's solo albums are available to buy online through Amazon or other music retailers.

These have been wonderful. On the first day we got some of London's Brilliant Parade and April 5, among lots of other things. It's very kind of Steve to share his talents during our global isolation.

This was Day Three of the Daily Improvisation. Some Bacharach/MacManus, a little Bowie and "Favourite Hour".

Day Three

Enjoy...

As well as seeing and hearing Steve play, it is good to connect for a little while to other Forum members and friends around the world.

Since you put me down, it seems i've been very gloomy. You may laugh but pretty girls look right through me.

these are great! Many thanks to Steve for sharing these.
Muriel's "Indoor Fireworks" brought a big smile to my face (it was the French accent I think), London's Brilliant Parade was excellent, loved "Perfect Day", haven't watched #4 yet...

Being busy with homeworking and kids I've not had time to catch up with these yet - any good tunes we should know about?
