Attractions vs EC?

Post by 25to12 »

Pretty self-explanatory really. I don't actually have the Attractions album so I couldn't answer, but it'll be pretty interesting to see how this turns out.

Not at all. The point is "what do you like better, Elvis without the Attractions, or the Attractions without Elvis?" And Mighty Like A Rose was picked because it sounds like an album the Attractions could have done.

I own both, and I've listened to Mad About the Rwong Boy exactly twice. MLAR? I've lost count.

The comparison is meaningless, like comparing fish with furniture. Does anyone on this board seriously like the Attractions, as a three-piece group, MORE than they like Elvis, with or without a band? Of course not. The very proposition is absurd.

Any vote for the Attractions album is merely a vote against MLAR, and therefore merely a reflection of different tastes re: EC material. Nothing to do with Mad About The Wrong Boy.

Mad About The Wrong Boy is a novelty item at best. Not a *bad* album, but probably in the same league as Keith Moon's Two Sides Of The Moon.
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

I voted for Mad About The Wrong Boy because I wanted to join in the absurdity. I sincerely hope whoever beat me to it was sincere though.
