El Vez --
I didn't see all of it, but Charles Burnett has what looks like pretty good a new documentary coming out on Nat Turner and his portrayals over the years...I'm a bit confused myself, but some people (apparently including Ossie Davis) still consider him a sort of hero. I don't get it, but maybe when I have a chance to see/learn more....I'll still think it's insane to call him a hero....
Here's my unfair and imbalanced hell list:
1. Bill O'Reilly (I think we should treat it as a given that no hell dinner party is complete without him!)
2. Peggy Noonan
3. Nate Holden (this is a bit L.A. centric -- Mr. Holden is a recently retired L.A. democrat who had political wiles that enabled him to stay in office for decades despite being a supposed liberal, and African-American, and still supported the hated police chief Darrell Gates during the height of the Rodney King debacle. Also, he was happy to play the race card against -- usually more progressive -- white politicians but when he ran against the Mike Woo for mayor and he couldn't do that for a host of reasons, he accused him of being a draft dodger!)
4. Ann Coulter
5. Charles Krauthammer (during the Afganistan war, accused George W. of having a "fetish" for the welfare of the Afghan people for which I presume they are duly grateful today; never met a war and/or opportunity to kill innocents he doesn't love; also actaully looks like an evil space alien).
6. Joan Rivers

I understand that part of it and he certainly was courageous, but morally speaking, calling him a hero seems so wrong as to be "insane." I guess people have a hard time distinguishing between courage and heroism, sometimes. Sort of reminds me of the whole Bill Maher debacle. It should be obvious to anyone that the 9/11 hijackers, while evil and sadistic, were also the opposite of "cowardly."miss buenos aires wrote:I can see it. Great idea for a 'hell list' Bobster...
I'd rather not be going for a tea party at Castle Dracula with these guys:
Adolf Hitler...power mad egomaniac sex pervert
Ian Brady...moors murderder
John Wilkes Booth...assassinated Lincoln cos he hated black people/gay people...if Lincoln had survived, history would have been different, i.e no Andrew Johnson
Oswald Moseley...origin of british fascism, and posterboy for the BNP scum.
Pol Pot...his Khmer Rouge killed 2 million people he didn't like
Vanessa Feltz...the epitomy of celebrity gone mad

Oily --
Since most of the people on your list have annoying voices, I think Geddy Lee would kind of fit right in (though Rush's has found a way to make bass baritione gating).
Could you imagine Shatner, Fran D. and Geddy performing a trio of "On the Road Again" perhaps?

its a rush funny. i put that there just to see how long it would take for someone to pick on the boys. the other rush would never make it to the table. remember, i have big arms as PoP said, though she was heavily medicated at the time, and big teeth. you know, now that i think of it, maybe i should have made the trio 3 of the 6 at the heavenly table, heather needs some alive peoples to talk to. and maybe steve mcqueen and sinatra. that'll do it.
I'm not concerned about the very poor.
