Radio Dylan

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Great selection , yet again.
However, it was kind of hilarious to be listening to it this morning in my shop. You Put It In & I'll Take It Out by Papa Jackson is , of course, about money but , really , it's absolute, delightful smut. It's All About the Benjamins by P.Diddy was also great fun, with heaps of ffing and blinding. Very naughty stuff. All that and Nic Jones - excellent!

The opening music on this week's show ("Blood") sounded familiar. Then I realized I knew it as "My Flame Burns Blue", aka "Blood Count".

Elvis speaks , briefly, before Nothing by Townes Van Zandt (1996) in the latest ( Jan. 14th '09) of Bob's radio shows. He talks about how it's one of his favourite of Townes songs and how it encapsulates nothingness, something that he - Elvis- has thankfully never really felt etc.
