I noted that their blackened grilled tuna dish had gone off the menu.selfmademug wrote:They used to make a pretty good tuna-steak sandwich. PS, is that a CD in the foreground? What music is he getting at 5?
No CDs, not sure what you're looking at there. Cup, camera case. He's not too into music, but he did make reference to Elvis Costello being a character in a game the other day.

At last, the REAL answer to "Why do they hate us?"!Otis Westinghouse wrote: For the astute observers of American restaurant chains among you, yes, that's Chili's, Cambridge's own little slice of the USA.
And Otis, you have the kind of kids that make fortyish bachelors get all misty. And they're all so well behaved, being all motionless and such.

That's just the 'action' setting on my camera. Actually, they are pretty well behaved. We feel like we're always quelling feuds and struggling to keep things under control, but a couple of people have commented on their good form this weekend, so there may be something in it. Thanks for nice comments. Don't get too misty, now. And Chili's does a roaring trade here - very much shoulder to shoulder, no hate involved.

In a desperate attempt to prove I'm not sinister:
Actually, that might have backfired. I'll probably have my front door knocked down by the strong arm of the Child Protection Agency at 5 in the morning. In my defence, can I just say that having a bunch of 4 going on 5-year-olds pumelling you into submission on a bouncy castle is immensely satisfying? Er, no I guess that isn't really defence. Well, in a last ditch attempt to clear my good name, if any employees of Cambridge Party Bouncers are looking, can I just point out that I didn't actually stand up or jump on the castle, I just let myself be pulled down.

Somehow, the UK has grown just a little bit less exciting now.Otis Westinghouse wrote:Chili's does a roaring trade here - very much shoulder to shoulder, no hate involved.
Of course, I should admit that I've never actually eaten at a Chilis (TGIF, yes, more often than I care to admit, but Chilis, not yet). I think they're obnoxious "Baby Back Rib" song of several years back with "barbecue sauce" sung as a basso profundo rejoinder has eternally soured me on the their corporate cuisine.
But as a good cultural relativist, well, whatever floats the UK's collective food boat will have to accepted by the likes of a foodie wannabe like myself.

Jackson... I am sorry, but you look far too fit to be on this list! Your girls however are, dare I say it, pretty as a picture - do they need a penpal?... my oldest boy Declan is now starting to get the hang of writing letters less than 4 inches in height
Lawngnome... love the stepped effect; beautiful presentation (in all aspects).

from what I can see of it, SMM, I like it - very Autumn. The last time (well, actually the 2nd to last time) I colored my hair, it ended up this vaguely lavender color. I was going for platinum blonde, but my natural color really is just too dark. Got the lavender out, put on some darker blonde, and since by now my hair was just MUSH from all the chemicals, cut it all off. I liked the 'tipped' effect as it grew out, but haven't dared to try to recreate it. But I keep browsing that aisle at Walmart.......
Like me, the "g" is silent.
