Tower of Song

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Bam: as a policy, any radio near me with that tedious git JBJ would get switched off the moment it came on. I don't know that song (for the above reason), nor do I want to. Just wanted to clear that up, as your bizarre assumption that we're all closet fans has thus far gone unchecked.

Uncomplicated: thanks for keeping The Jam in there, good to know there are legions of fans here.

OK, out: Wilco (drummers, yes, heavy metal ones, no)
In: Bjork at her finest

Ian Dury & The Blockheads - Sweet Gene Vincent
The Clash - Straight To Hell
Patti Smith - Because the Night
Joni Mitchell - This Flight Tonight

Bjork - Joga
Lefty Frizzell - If You've Got The Money, I've Got The Time
Jimmy Cliff - Many Rivers To Cross

Don't you all just KNOW El Vez is saving his three choices for 12:59 on May 29th...
A lot of Christians wear crosses around their necks. Do you think when Jesus comes back he ever wants to see a fuckin' cross? It's kind of like going up to Jackie Onassis with a rifle pendant on.

Blue, since I can't get to the board much anymore, could you please periodically enter: You Don't Know Me--r. charles, That's How Strong My Love is--otis redding, and In My Life by the Beatles?

I heard a MCCARTNEY SONG I'VE NEVER HEARD BEFORE last night!

I think it was called HOLDING.

Blue, do you have this tune? It was alright!
Loving this board since before When I Was Cruel.

I'll have some pickled onions,
And a little bit of cheese, please.

I just realized that I don't know the rules to this game, I've just been adding and taking out.

SoLack- You somehow seemed an ideal candidate to provoke for some funny and expected adversary reaction to that choice - didn't mean to bug ya too much.

Otis - Ok so that's your opinion of JBJ, but I don't recall saying that "we're all", or even that anyone (including myself) is, a "closet fan" of the song or him (whichever you meant). So I don't know what's gotten into you.
