Campy French Video Collection

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Campy French Video Collection

Post by marblefaun »

I'm looking for the name of a collection (..website??) of mostly French...very campy, old music videos. It's called Scopetones or something. Does anyone know what I'm referring to?? Does anyone know the web address or where one can buy them??

It's called Scopitones; I have one DVD of them, which I bought at a Serge Gainsbourg tribute concert not too long ago. They might be on ebay...?

Ahhhh! That's what they're called. I fell in love with these when I was was in my early teens, then kinda forgot about them. Check out this website: http://scopitones.com/index.html.

Thanks for the invite MBA! But I'll be out of town this weekend....
You might want to check out some modish music by a little known "blue-eyed soul" singer named Sharon Tandy. She's sort of like Dusty Springfield..same era, same feel but Jewish!
The album is called "You Gotta Believe it's...." or something like that.

It was a lot of fun, thanks for asking!

All the modsters that showed up were known! At least to me...

Well, mf, since you asked...

This guy figured out how to connect an old-fashioned receiver to his cell phone--it really works!
