someone told me

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

that there was an Elvis quote or something on Cartoon Network on Mondays at 11. I watched....didn't see anything.

Does anyone here know what they were talking about?

Family Guy is hilarious!

Yeah, yeah, yeah....LTZ!!!
It's so funny...at the begining of 'adult swim,' which is at 11 or 11:30pm on Mondays, a black screen comes up and the words 'Welcome to the working week...I know it don't thrill you....(well, you guys all know the lyric.) scrolls across the screen.
It was a kick in the head. The man is freakin everywhere!

MAN! I watched from 11 to midnight last night and didn't see it! :(

I was at work. :(

A sucky way to spend a birthday, but my fiancee brought us deep dish pizza, cake and ice cream, and a SWEET new WMU Centennial, hooded, soft-as-hell-on-the-inside zip up sweatshirt. It will be PERFECT for football season. She's the best.

Aw, LTZ~ sorry you had to work on your b-day (and a belated happy one to you) but it sounds like your thoughtful sweetie made the most of it.

I don't actually watch the adult swim...my husband's the addict. He's the one that said, hey...look at this!
So ask off work for next Monday and park yourself in front of your tube...because it's just a quick moment and it's over. But it was really funny to see!

Hey, Happy Birthday, Mr. (so much more than) Zero!!

:D

I hope you enjoy your sweatshirt. Nothin' like a nice soft sweatshirt in the fall, is there??? I have a beloved Univ. of Iowa one which is sometimes referred to around our house as 'The Mink'. (e.g., "Where's The Mink? I wanted to wear it to the park, did you see it in the laundry??")

Love,
The Mug
