7. Neil Young & Crazy Horse - Live Rust

I don't know if I have 10 in the rock/pop category. Because I generally don't dig live albums. But these are some that I like an awful lot, in no particular order:
1. Radiohead - I might Be Wrong
2. Jovanotti - Autobiagrafia di un Festa
3. Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense
4. Jars of Clay - Furthermore
5. Lyle Lovett - Live in Texas
6. They Might Be Giants - Severe Tire Damage
7. Elvis Costello - Cruel Smile/Armed Forces Bonus Disc (the live stuff from both counts as one for me)
8. U2 - Bono is a Dinky Trabant (bootleg of a show I actually attended. I did not make the bootleg. It is a really good one recorded off the soundboard).
Not rock/pop, but a great live album is Steve Martin Wild & Crazy Guy
That might be all. Probably another one or two I can't think of.
Now, in Jazz, so very many of the best albums are live that I'm not sure this counts. But here's 10 (and this is hard to limit) that I think are exceptional:
1. Miles Davis - The Complete Concert 1964
2. Dizzy Gillespie - Live at Newport
3. Dizzie Gillespie Quintet - Live at Massey
4. Wynton Marsalis - Live at Blues Alley
5. Thelonious Monk & John Coltrane Live at the 5 Spot
6. John Coltrane - Live at Birdland
7. Medeski Martin & Wood - Tonic
8. Wynton Marsalis - Blood on the Fields
9. Dizzy's Dream Band - actually a DVD concert, so sue me
10. Charlie Parker - Groovin' High
1. Radiohead - I might Be Wrong

I sometimes laugh about "live" albums since hearing a comedian a few years ago. He said he always liked to play live albums while he was making love - that way, no matter what his own performance was like, he'd still hear applause.
But I can see that some others here share my favorites - Cheap Trick, Johnny Cash, and Noise: thanks for mentioning the live stuff from Armed Forces - wonderful!
Also: Squeeze - A Round and A Bout
