The noun is fixed. Read my mind.

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

The noun is fixed. Read my mind.

All you have to do is ask questions. It's easy. I wrote it down so I won't forget. I know it's a stupid game.

You know the game...

I said "read my mind"!

I'm thinking of a noun. Ask me questions to find out which one. It's easy, and scientific...

It is not a person, and it is not alive...

I'll be absent for a few hours. Keep asking!

How direct/subtle/inappropriate/misleading a clue is 'Who's a hound dog?'.

My guess, based on it as a clue, is 'rope', but that's too obvious.

Is it within a 100km radius of you? If not, is it in the USA? Where are you, btw?

Alright, then..

Post by A rope leash »

O, how I would like to say that it is a ham sandwich...

Ah, Gilli, where ya been? It is generally mineral, I'd say.

Pip, it is not a place, or a person, so now we can say it is a thing.

Shabbs, this thing can be man-made, but only here on Earth.

It's not a stuffed dog, but I'm wondering if you meant a play doll or an taxidermied real one, Storm.

Bambo, I don't believe there's an active one within a a hundred kilometers of anyone, although some may be that close. If you want to know the whereabouts of my domicile, get with Mood...

So, iif it's an inantimate object, why, "Who's a hound dog", as opposed to "What's a hound dog??"

What it is.

Post by A rope leash »

We'll know who is a hound dog when they get the right scent and head down the right trail. (It's not a clue, I'm literally asking if you're a detective dog. A real one, not a stuffed one with a tartan cap and briar pipe.)

There is a clue in my second post on this thread. The noun is fixed. Smell the noun. Go get the noun. Bring me the noun.

Nope, nada

Post by A rope leash »

I see that Storm is using the "wild guess" method. A human skull or bone would be within a 100K of someone. This could work, though: I'll keep thinking of the noun as I sleep tonight, and try to project it to Tokyo, perhaps on some thought frequency.

The only prize in this game is the satisfaction of discovery, and perhaps a small party.

Got your thought projection Rope.

It's a nuclear bomb. (The real type as owned by the USA, not the imaginary ones as owned by Saddam)

Da bomb

Post by A rope leash »

While a nuclear explosion could be both natural and man-made, I don't think Mother nature actually intends to hurt anybody with hers.

But that's a better guess than dog mummies or man bones.

My thought projection must have encountered some atmospheric distortion. That's a minor clue. I'll keep trying to transmit.

Smell the frequency.
