Poor Verbs. They won, right? Way to take one (or ten) for the team!
Our school had a loud recorded buzz they used in the library so as to block out disturbing sounds. It was very effective. Next time I visit my noisy local library I want one in my music player
that sounds like torture! the buzz from fluorescent lights gets on my nerves.

It was a low warm buzz that you could feel in the pit of your ribcage, kind of like a guitar amplifier. Bzzzzzzzzz... felt good and ate up the sounds from a few metres away, through the PA system I think.

They're making a memorial park right up the street for the folks who died in the flood in '96. They were nice, and gave out a lot of candy. I just hope they don't put a playground up there. Just a few benches would suffice.
And what is it about this weather that is so depressing?
I suppose the fact that I don't live in the city where I grew up and won't see these people anymore will make it easier to go through with it. And being drunk would make it even easier.
I'm going to write down everything I listen to for a week, song by song. I thought it would be interesting to see if any trends develop. My friends are just like 'Why?' It might get a little difficult on the weekend, when my headphones are more less strapped to my head.
We always have Indian Summers here in PA.
And definitely karaoke. There's never a wrong time for karaoke, in my opinion.....
Felt extremely retro-dork pantomiming performance along to Squeeze last night. But those are the moments that make life worth living, surely.

I'm a bit nervous this morning. In a first, I've got to make a presentation to the CEO of my company (whom I've never met) in a couple of hours. The presentation will be held in the corporate boardroom, where the stockholders usually meet to determine the future of the business (I work for a Fortune 100 apparel company.)
