I have a coupla good friends who are addicted to nicotine, and are about that age. Sad.
I don't know diddly about who he was as a person, but I admit some of his tunes were semi-guilty pleasures.

I just saw this at the bottom of the tv screen.
They're dropping like flies lately, people. Musicians are just dropping like flies.
Now the Maytag repair man dying the other day - well, he was older. I could understand that.

Can't say I cared for his music, but it's sad when someone dies that young.

He may have recorded the worst Dylan cover ever (his version of "I'll Be Your Baby Tonight"), but his videos were fun.

just to be clear, let us take another look at the cold and conclusive matter-of-fact determination of Surgeon General That S. That concerning the tragic, early loss of an unfortunately popularly pigeon-holed class act:

Of course in the first sentence of the obit he is described as a "snappy dresser". Sadly, that phrase will never be used in my obit.

Maybe you should request that in your will. In fact, if I had a will, I'd have all sorts of specifications for my obituary.
