Which is the best 'best of'?

Post by laughingcrow »

I asked it before on board 2, but it's one of my favourite questions with artists that have warranted more than one....

Which is the best 'best of', and why?

I always like the way that these records let you hear songs in different contexts, so which arrangement does it for you? For me, you can't beat Extreme Honey, because it's more guided by the man himself rather than being the most commercially succesful. I do love 1977-1986 though!

i have girls girls girls.......and i love two things about it: the way the songs are compiled...........and elvis telling the stories behind those songs in the liner notes
...the promise of indulgence in my confidential voice approached inmortal danger but you´ll never know how close....

LC, I'll let you know when I buy them all. I can't wait. :)

I do have a fondness for 'The Man' though, as it was introduction to EC.
