Went down to Shibuya to look for momofuku today. No sign of it either HMV or Tower.........or at disc union... We are still waiting here, too....

thanks for the review. Everything that EC touch is not gold!!! Glad you biased my expectations a bit. Most records grow after a few listenings. That is when the expectations are to meet the reality........

I just spent the $12.50- USA import price- to buy this and it was well worth it. The photos are all spectacular and it is the most extensive take on Blondie out there short of an actual book. Good amount of ink on Costello and what went on in 1978. Lots of great articles on the whole scene here and...

Well, needless to say, I'm excited....but I'll be waiting for the CD. Blasphemy? Perhaps. But my wallet will thank me. However, I would have bought the vinyl had the CD come out several months or so after the initial release. Goes to show, Elvis.... But yeah, excited. Needless to say..... you mean ...

Don’t get me wrong I can’t wait until the new EC record comes out but the marketing campaign was all for nothing if they are going to release the CD three weeks after the record. And of course he can sell more if he releases a CD, but wasn’t his point that he wanted to do what he wanted and release...

I don’t like the fact that Momofuku is being released on CD so soon. I thought the idea of a record/digital download only release was innovative and fun. But releasing the CD so soon negates all of that. Maybe if the CD was released a year later or something, but a few weeks later…kinda dumb. I won...

any news about Japanese releases CD/LP/8-track/reeltoreel w/ diffrerent tracklisting????

When will the re-issue with extra tracks be made available? Probably around Xmas, after he's given a wordy interview to Billboard complaining that "nobody bought the album". Excepting us, of course. It's just all part of his cunning plan. He'll sell about 12 copies of the album, come here...

.....so you won´t be buying the momofuku, special edition Noodle bowl??? only available on mail order, of course????

if my mind serves my right, on the record that was released after this event, there was one (some??) photos of EC as well. The track on the record was the AF version of Goon squad. Can someone verify?
