RIP George Carlin

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

RIP George Carlin

This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

That really sucks. One of the great stand-up comedians and a real groundbreaker.

I will be thinking of his humor as I continue to rip out my kitchen for the next few days. And those seven words. ;-)

I just adored him. :(

Pretty brilliant stuff from one of his recent HBO specials...

And another one - just audio, but superb...

I grew up admiring Carlin's attitude, political leanings and downright intelligence. Along with Richard Pryor, Carlin was probably the most imitated stand-up comic in the country for years and still is. He was a great one indeed!

RIP, George.

Carlin was a true master. In a class by himself. Saw him on his last tour. He was looking pretty bad but still put on a great show. He had a few heart attacks over the years. I guess his luck finally ran out. RIP!

Just watched George Carlin Again! on HBO as part of a tribute. I needed a laugh after finding out that one of my high school teachers dropped dead of a heart attack at 58 on Monday night. He was great, as was Carlin. Nothing like hearing the 7 deadly words to get a laugh going - even 30 years later.
