Re: Wake up you footy fans!!!
Time to change that - two defeats in one season, nice work! Such a shame that City weren't rightfully reduced to 9 men after vile Lescott's blatant arm to face and even more so for psychopath Balotelli's utterly inexcusable and very obvious stamping on Parker. What the fuck were Webb and team thinking? And as far twatface Lee Dixon giving him benefit of the doubt on MOTD2. Insult to injury that he then got a penalty. Shame Spurs didn't give it a bit of oomph in the first half and put United deservedly on equal points with those scumbags. Awful miss by Defoe.
Had to piss myself over the substitution of Arseshavings for very promising Oxblood Chamberlain, and moron Arsefans for once applying some sound judgement hurling abuse at Whinger, and then the Russian moron gifting us the winner. You couldn't script this stuff.

Re: Wake up you footy fans!!!
I also think the way Kenny Dalglish and Liverpool have handled both this and the original
Incident has been extremely poor.
Their "we think we are right but we're not going to appeal, thus vindicating us" approach was bizarre and wasn't it amazing that Dalglish "didn't see the handshake refusal". Yet no doubt Suarez is in rhe right.
Incredible - and dragging Liverpool down further.

What a pair of tossers. Suarez obviously had no desire to apologise, he was forced to, as was Dalgleish. King Kenny, my arse. Lowlifers.
And we beat the buggers.

Absolutely.
I wonder if either or both or them will apologise personally to Evra and actually say the words rather than have them issued through a statement.

This must be the most amazing end to Premiership season since the 1988-1989 Arsenal win.

Re: Wake up you footy fans!!!
I sort of share your feelings.
I was watching the last 15 minutes of both games standing in front of the tv, and crossing fingers for QPR, and my kid was completely devastated when City scored the third goal, but you cannot deny this was a most incredible finish to the season.

It was an amazing end to the season. Sulky and I were listening to the radio on the way to the Liverpool show and could not believe what we were hearing. It was incredibly dramatic stuff!

Euro 2012 Fantasy Football anyone?

I'd happily set up a league if there's interest.

Re: Wake up you footy fans!!!
Belated apologies to Tot and Bay for our being absolutely crap/somehow winning. This was for me a nice HEINEKEN addition during our ultimate deterioration to the real prize - Budweiser CUP.
The 1st team ever in the history of the world to win all versions of THE FA Cup is THE BLUES vanilla FA Cup-Littlewoods-AXA-EON and now in its first season BUDWEISER.
And we won the FA Youth Cup-The FA Young Ladies Cup-Euro Under 17s Cup on penalties against the Germans (well, Dutch captain is CHELSEA http://www.chelseafc.com/page/TheAcadem ... 25,00.html
Then a week after getting very lucky in Munchen, I saw in blazing sun 200 yards down road Chelsea Ladies draw FA Womens' Final a.e.t.
DPAM doesn't want to go to play CHELSEA in a final.
I apologise also to Liver for Wembley Final when we were fine for an hour/crap for last 30 mins, and assistant referee miraculously did not give Andy C. a 2nd ... I would have.
The Queen is red - long live the King's Road.
AND I saw USA unluckily lose to Brazil recently on ESPN or Eurosport HD. 2 days till Euros commence, with for first time in at least 8 years depleted England - and jolly Eire - attending.

Re: Wake up you footy fans!!!
I can't believe it's over a year since anyone posted to the Wake up you footy fans thread.
In honour of Mesut Ozil signing for Arsenal I post this quote from Arseblog News about regret in Madrid.
I don't know if it's genuine or not bit it's very funny.
Antonio Banderas (actor): “I cannot believe this. This is so not funny it makes Adam Sandler’s last movie look like Blazing Saddles.”
Guffaw, guffaw, tinter, tinter etc etc
But seriously who is going to win the league?
Sadly I expect it will be Chelski.

Re: Wake up you footy fans!!!
I am amazed that Real Madrid let Ozil leave the club.
He's a fantastic signing for Arsenal - a world-class playmaker who can play killer passes and provides plenty of assists for strikers.
Not so much convinced by Moyes moves. Fellaini is not a consistent player, and I wonder how Moyes will (or already did) explain to Evra that he had been so desperately looking for a left-back.
