Tower of musical shame

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Noise. Are you Insane? I took REM off the list. According to your rule. You vetoed Little Feat. Put them on the list. Later, would not allow REM on the list.

Have you been drinking heavily of late? Has Bamboo's assholiness finally gotten the better part of your wits?

I think most of us are a little confused as to why R.E.M. gets to have the immunity that EC or The Beatles have. Their last few albums haven't been that good.

These are Noise Radio's rules and if we don't play fair he is going to take his ball and go home.

But can someone clue me in as to what point in time the Mike Love led Beach Boys were ever good?

1. Pink Floyd
2. Arlo Guthrie
3. Phil Collins
4. Aerosmith
5. Michael Jackson
6. The Beach Boys (not Brian Wilson solo, the Mike Love-led Beach Boys sans Brian)
7. REM
8. Robbie Robertson
9.Prince
10. KISS

Now help me out with Phil Collins.

I replace the B-52's with REM - It's not only the sub standard records they have put out since the drummer left - the singer is now painting his face blue...why?....hey I saw these guys back in '85 and they were great...I just have no interest in seeing them these days. I have a bunch of their records including their last one and I think they've become a huge let down - can you tell me why the singer painting his face blue is not even a little bit of an embarrasment? Several members of the board came back and agreed with REM choice - I stand by it. Just because you made a rule doesn't mean I will respect it or follow it (obviously).....

1. Elton John
2. Pink Floyd
3. Rod Stewart
4. Aerosmith
5. Michael Jackson
6. Mike Love's Beach Boys
7. REM
8. Robbie Robertson
9 KISS
10 Kate Bush
