Miss BA's AYISS Sucking On Their Glasses Gallery

Post by Mike Boom »

Pictures of angry young intellectual singer-songwriters sucking on their glasses (or just pics of speccy pop stars if you cant find any of the afore mentioned I guess).

Well, that's not really the point, is it? But please find below a link to a young lady who says, "Death before contact lenses!"

I once had the ability to post pictures, but I can't figure it out on a Mac, sorry...

It isn't? ;-)

I'm with you on contact lenses. The idea of putting something in my eye doesn't appeal to me at all. After years of wearing glasses, I'd feel strange walking around yeux nus, so to speak.

Not as glamourous as our MBA, but here's one of a less-than-young lady in her new specs:

I knew you'd indulge me! ;-)

My wife's optometrist just told her she needs to start wearing glasses. She's crestfallen, having just turned 40. I'm secretly pleased.

Must say I'm not wild about Lisa Loeb's music, but she does have some nice specs.

I read somewhere recently that there is an entire category of glasses-wearing female characters in Japanese anime called "meganekko".

PS - Just found this:

I've been wearing glasses since the first grade (I think, maybe earlier). You can include me in the group that doesn't like foreign objects in their eyes. I even have trouble with eyedrops. It is so much easier to put your glasses on in the morning, take them off at night, and clean them once a month.

Also, when at a bar, your friends cannot try on contact lenses.

Actually not a huge fan of people trying on my glasses, unless it is immediately followed by, "Wow, you really are as blind as you say!" My least favorite part is when they try to take your glasses off your face with one hand.

No shit. I just paid an arm and a leg for mine, and the last thing I want is people puttin' 'em on their fat heads and bending them out of shape.

However I am a fan of contacts and wear them a great deal of the time.

How 'bout E from Eels?

No? Didn't think so - stinky cigar and beard.

I remember him making some self-deprecating remarks about his scrawny, hairy little body when I saw him live earlier this year.
